2007 Honda CRV Reviews

It's amazing to me that we've spent so much time with our CRV. Reliable, spacious and fun to drive is what the Honda CRV is all about.

I have never seen an HVAC system in a vehicle that is so effective, regardless of the weather. The sunroof is one touch (as are the driver's side window controls) up and down, and the stereo has redundant controls on the steering wheel; both of these in the name of safety and keeping your eye on the road instead of the dashboard.

I'd beef up the little underseat tray on the passenger's side, as I'm sure I'd break this in short order. Other than that, every component on our CRV is rock solid, including the five speed automatic transmission.

Your can get a front wheel drive model, but why bother if you encounter snow regularly? Get the four wheel drive and see just how well a vehicle can make it through the snow. It would be nice to have an option to turn the four wheel drive off in the name of fuel economy (which is about 32-34 mpg on the highway in our own observed testing).

All in all, a great choice that holds value well and doesn't cost a lot to own.
